At Dragon Bookkeeping, our story began long before the business name.
It began with small business ownership — long days, payroll deadlines, and balancing the books after closing time. It began with learning firsthand what it truly takes to run and grow a business.

Where It All Started
Lin brings over 15 years of hands-on bookkeeping experience rooted in real entrepreneurship.
​
In 2011, she opened Little Bites Bakeshop, a catering-style cupcake bakery, managing every aspect of the business — including the books.
​
In 2015, she and her late husband Don built and opened Vanguard Brewing Company. As “Money Boss,” Lin oversaw finances and sales, helping grow the brewery from the ground up.
​
Through both ventures, she experienced the pressure, pride, risk, and responsibility of entrepreneurship — and the vital importance of clean, accurate financials in keeping a business strong.
A New Chapter
After Don’s passing, Lin made the difficult decision to sell the brewery. In 2024, she and her youngest daughter, Cate, founded Dragon Bookkeeping — turning years of experience into a service dedicated to helping other small businesses thrive.
